Cleveland Clinic – What’s Behind the World Famous Name?

Cleveland Clinic has been named one of the best hospitals in the United States in the 2018-19 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals rankings.

Cleveland Clinic’s cardiac program has been ranked first in the nation since 1995. The urology program also ranks at the forefront of the country and three of the clinic’s specialties – gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery, kidney disease and rheumatology – are No. 2. Twelve other Cleveland Clinic specialties rank in the top five. Cleveland Clinic received the highest ranking of any hospital in the state of Ohio.

Cleveland Clinic is one of the largest and most respected hospitals in the country. The mission of the clinic is to provide the best care for patients, accurately diagnose their problems, and further treat them. But that requires more than world-class clinical care 一 it requires care that considers all aspects of a patient’s encounter with Cleveland Clinic. It includes the patient’s physical comfort as well as their educational, emotional and spiritual needs. A team of professionals serves as a consultative resource for critical initiatives within the Cleveland Clinic Health System. In addition, the clinic provides resources and data analytics to identify, maintain and publish best best practices and collaborate with various departments, to ensure the continued delivery of patient-centered care.
